I suppose I don't have as much self-esteem as most. Given that I grew up being told every day how useless I was and how the world would be better off without me, that's probably no surprise.
But I also know that what they told me isn't true. I know that I have it in me to be better than I am right now.
So I would actually say I'm optimistic about the future.
