[ooc: and if the relationship between Miya and his sadistic captain in the past is not your cup of tea, tell me, and I'll rewrite everything!]
[By the time Kuroo arrived Miya Atsumu managed to set up the two-person tent he'd lent from his brother. This was the first time he did the work alone, and as he watched the lone figure walking through the sand he had to drink up a half bottle of water. This tent was not something he could be proud of.
As he left the camping place helping to carry the Nekoma captain's bags he silently wondered if this lover from hell was more devilish as Kita.]
[ He wanted to offer to help out, with the tent. Kuroo's nature has always been one of helpfulness - he volunteered himself to help whenever he can because he finds pleasure in other people finding theirs. Maybe it's a little creepy. Maybe it's weird. Kuroo doesn't really care.
But as for Atsumu, who reminded Kuroo of some of the darker aspects of his personality — he feels like he should wait for the setter to ask.
So he watches. The tent is passably set up, though he'll have to fix up some of the legs later for a better foundation. It's when Atsumu picks up Kuroo's own bags without prompting that he decides to speak up. ]
I can carry my own stuff, you know. You don't have to if you don't want to be carrying them.
[If Kuroo wasn't as infamous as he is Atsumu would feel relieved for not building an Indian palace of sand. But this is Kuroo, the lover from hell, only his covetous nature can grow over his high standards.
If Atsumu didn't know know what would be the consequences of not being able to measure up to these high standards he'd laugh away the whole thing and ran away with Kuroo's bag. But the Nekoma captain's fame combined with his presence makes the bag quite heavy.
He smiles at Kuroo nevertheless.]
Upperclassmen have a lot to carry on their shoulders, it's the least I can do for you to help you carry your luggage.
